February 20, 2025

Past Event Reports:
Sunday, December 29th -Titans vs Jaguars ticket fundraiser – received $70 (14 tickets)
Nothing Bundt Cakes (from Flag Football game)
· Check received $240.80 – splitting with St Augustine JROTC
Monday, January 13th - Cadet Bravoz Event Did not go as planned but cadets had fun
Wednesday January 22nd Academy Night at Nease
· M Shack spirit night-do not yet know the amount raised
Sunday, February 2nd - Kendra Scott giveback event Great and easy fundraiser
· 20% of all in store sales during this time plus online sales using code for 48-hour window
· raised $772.37
· Discussing another event on Sunday, April 13th 3:00pm-5:00pm
Monday, February 17th – Topgolf Event Cadets had a lot of fun and friendly competition
Booster/CPO Announcements

· Mr. Joe had hip surgery-he is in a rehab facility
o Cadets have made him a get-well video – he really enjoyed it

· Online Garage Sale site is being set up on FB site will be like a swip swop where exchange are organized among yourselves and will establish rules, i.e. no exchanging issued items that must be returned to the unit
o Will be a private event
o Post NJROTC Items to sell or give away – coordinating payment and pick up is between users
o Think spirit wear, summer camp supplies, etc.
Instructor Announcements
The incorrect date listed for Drone in newsletter-correct date is February 28th starting at 3pm and ambitious goal to complete by 7:30
DATE CHANGE – Awards night will not be Thursday, April 24th – new date TBD Wednesday April 23rd is new date, pending approval by the school
Thursday, February 27th and Friday, February 28th - Promotions held at the stadium during class times
Applied for a NRA grant and got new rifles, scopes, pellets, targets, kneeling roles, mats, etc – about 7-8k worth of stuff for Air Rifle. Also got word from MOAA (veterans association) and will present us w check for $4,000 which they suggested we use for equipment / updates and Warrant is considering new guidons
New cadets coming in next year – numbers look amazing. Most recent number is 81
Brain Brawl Regionals on March 1st in. Cairo GA, about 3 hours away

Tuesday, March 11th – Sunday, March 16th – TPC Parking Community Service
· Cadets will sign up through the unit to volunteer
· Warrant needs a parent to volunteer to be in charge on Friday March 14th. Please let Warrant know.
Thursday, March 13th 8:00am - Orienteering send off to Nationals along Ray Rd
· Cadets and families line the road to cheer them on as the team leaves for Nationals
Thursday, March 20th – 5:00pm – 7:00pm Skate Station Fun works Event – Mandarin location
· Cadets and Family Members
· Private event before it opens to the public at 7pm
o You can stay after 7 when it is open to the public but must pay admission again
· Pay at the door-mention Nease NJROTC
o $8 per person for skating only
o $12 for unlimited attractions
Wednesday, March 26th - Right Hand Man breakfast
· Need food donations to feed cadets
· Need parent volunteers to set up, serve and clean up

· Tickets will go on sale on the website soon
· Ticket cost will be $50 for cadets, $60 for student guests (9th-12th grade) and $70 for family members – no one under 9th grade should attend.
· What to wear? Formal attire (think prom)-get jewelry at Kendra Scott event
· No alcohol in the ballroom

Friday, February 28th – End of TPC ticket sale fundraiser (Chip in for Charity)
· Please continue to share -tickets are discounted and $40 per ticket comes back to us.
