Meeting Minutes

Upcoming Events: Bravo Company Promotions moved to November 15 due to ASVAB testing, all others remain as scheduled for November 7th & 8th

Cadet and Team Announcements: Dry cleaning available again, bring items in a bag labeled with name and cash. $8 total ($3.50 shirt, $3.50 pants, $1.00 hat)

Chris Brown, Geico owner. Flag football game was big success and will hopefully be hosted by Nease next year. It’s a lot of work but worth it to build tradition of military flag football. Considering a game in the Spring w Bartram. Next month Geico is hosting luncheon for all teachers who are veterans. Mr Brown likes to help w fundraising and had an idea that he has one school doing – selling Boston Butts at Christmas time. These events help teach kids to be entrepreneurs. GEICO stands for governmental insurance co and is only military / veteran insurance company. Chris has great ideas about these events and Warrant said the other instructors from other units in the area.

Nothing Bundt Cakes fundraiser at flag football game was successful, got donation and more opportunities to do more

Make up photos tonight in media center during photo proofs from 4-7

Orienteering placed 2nd and 10th overall for the two teams which qualified them for Regionals

Next Saturday is Drill Meet at Mandarin. Tomorrow is twice overs, girls hair is at 5 am on the 26th in the conference room. Still waiting for signature to be able to use new trailer. Email went out last night to Drill parents about regionals hotel

Will need volunteers for the Nease Hosted Drill Meet – lots of opportunities at this event. Be on look out for email about Nease Hosted Drill Meet.

Cadet Breakfast on 10/29 – check out sign up to donate food items or help

Promotions – Bravo Co moved to November 15th due to ASVAB which all Juniors and Seniors are taking

Next week, doing PI on Monday or Tuesday, depending on when they have class due to schedules
