Drill Nationals

Congratulations to the Nease Drill Team on qualifying for Nationals! 

While the decision to cancel this event in-person is unfortunate for the cadets that have worked hard all year, I want to clarify that this was not a Nease, instructor, or Area 10 decision!  This was a decision that was made by Naval Service Training Command and is due to the Navy at large doing a budget review, where all travel (except for active duty) and nonessential expenses are currently not authorized. 

The instructions for this event require that all events are to be filmed and submitted by March 31, 2025. Due to the short notice and tight timeline we were given, we are trying to schedule the filming of our different team events to have the least impact as possible, but understand that some conflicts may be unavoidable. Our plan is to schedule these events before or after school this Wednesday through Friday (March 26 - 28). Unfortunately, the requirements for the filming does not allow for spectators, so parents and guests will not be able to attend the filming of the events. 

We sincerely appreciate the support and assistance you have all provided during the year for this team and were a huge part of their success!  Again, this is not the scenario any of us could have predicted would happen. I appreciate all the patience and understanding as we work through ensuring we get the best videos submitted.
