NOVEMBER 2025
Nease Hosts Area NJROTC Drill Meet

It was our great pleasure to host ten area NJROTC units on November 1 for our Nease-hosted Drill Meet. Our cadets did an outstanding job planning, organizing, and executing the events of a long and successful day.

We are deeply grateful for the many parent volunteers who made this event possible. From the scoring room, where volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure accurate results, to the drill deck where parents checked score sheets and coordinated with cadet runners. Every task was handled with precision and teamwork.

Our hospitality team kept over 100 judges, instructors, and bus drivers well-fed throughout the day, while our cafeteria crew managed lunches for more than 300 cadets, including both Nease and visiting teams. Not only did everything run smoothly, but our volunteers shared plenty of laughs and camaraderie along the way.

We also want to extend a sincere thank you to all parents who donated food, drinks, and monetary donations for the event. Your contributions of funds, breakfast items, beverages, and lunch supplements were greatly appreciated and helped make the day a success.

Kudos to our cadets and volunteers for representing Nease NJROTC with excellence and teamwork!

Cadets Earn Prestigious Navy ROTC Scholarships

HUGE congratulations to Cadets Cameron Collins and Mitchell Spore!

Both cadets have been selected to receive the highly competitive Navy ROTC Immediate Scholarship Reservation (ISR) — one of the most prestigious scholarships offered by the U.S. Navy.

This distinguished award recognizes exceptional leadership, character, and academic excellence. The ISR scholarship covers full tuition (or room and board) at select universities, and also includes a book stipend, summer training opportunities, and a monthly living allowance. Recipients of this scholarship will go on to earn a commission as a Navy or Marine Corps officer upon graduation.

We are incredibly proud of Cadets Collins and Spore for representing Nease NJROTC with such honor, dedication, and excellence.

Biketoberfest Parking Fundraiser a Success

Thank you to all the cadets and parent volunteers who supported our Biketoberfest Parking Fundraiser in St. Augustine, held October 17–19.
