CyberPatriot State Round Results Final scores have been released for the CyberPatriot State Round, which took place on December 14th, and we are proud of the hard work and dedication shown by all of our teams. While the competition has concluded for Team A and Team B, both teams represented Nease NJROTC well in a highly competitive field. Team A finished 22nd in the Platinum Tier out of 71 teams, narrowly missing advancement, as only the top 18 teams move on. Team B earned a 29th place finish in the Platinum Tier, also competing against strong statewide teams. We are excited to share that Team C placed 3rd in the Gold Tier out of 86 teams and will advance to the CyberPatriot Semifinals, which will be held on January 24th. Only 16 teams from this tier advanced, making this an outstanding accomplishment for our cadets. A special thank you goes to Mr. Ken Curtis for his continued support and mentorship of our CyberPatriot teams. Even as his cadet prepares to graduate this year, Mr. Curtis has generously committed to continuing as a mentor and coach next season alongside Mr. Cox and Mr. Hajzus. We are grateful for these volunteers dedication and the positive impact he has on our cadets’ success. Good Luck to Team C as they head to the CyberPatriot Semifinals! |

Annual Military Inspection Success Nease NJROTC proudly showcased excellence during our Annual Military Inspection (AMI) on Friday, December 5. Commander Shaw, our Area 10 Manager, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the battalion, reviewing supply, administration, and all the key components that keep our unit operating at a high level. We are proud to share that the unit earned outstanding marks in every inspection area. The inspection day also featured a formal Pass in Review, impressive exhibition drill performances, and a pass of command, highlighting the professionalism, discipline, and pride of our cadets. Adding to the excitement, the Navy Band Southeast Region provided music and energy that made the ceremony especially memorable for cadets, families, and supporters. A sincere thank you to our dedicated instructors, Commander Shaw, the Navy Band Southeast Region, our parent volunteers who helped cadets prepare, and our outstanding cadets for their hard work and commitment. This AMI was a testament to the strength of the Nease NJROTC program. |
December Festivities & Appreciation December was filled with festive moments and meaningful connections for our Nease NJROTC cadets and families. Throughout the month, we enjoyed several holiday events, including Bagel Grab and Go for cadets, Cookies and Cocoa, Vincenzo’s Spirit Night, and our Holiday Sweater Parent Social. It was wonderful to see cadets and parents come together to celebrate the season and build community. These events are only possible because of the incredible generosity of our parent volunteers and families who donate their time, resources, and specific items needed for each event. Our unit truly runs on the support of YOU, and we are deeply thankful for the commitment and holiday cheer you help bring to our cadets. Thanks to this generosity, we were also able to bless our instructors and their families with beautiful holiday gift baskets as a token of our appreciation. Our instructors go far beyond the classroom, dedicating countless hours before and after school, as well as weekends, to travel and support our many teams. Their families also make sacrifices to ensure our cadets have these opportunities. We are incredibly grateful for our instructors and truly appreciative of the overwhelming support shown by our NJROTC families this holiday season. |
