AUGUST 2025
Welcome Aboard: Kicking Off a New Year with Nease NJROTC

As summer break winds down, the Nease NJROTC unit is already buzzing with excitement and preparation for the school year ahead. With Basic Cadet Training (BCT) upon us, we’re thrilled to welcome a new class of NS1 cadets and their families to the program, along with our returning NS2, NS3, and NS4 cadets!

Nease NJROTC is more than just an elective. It’s an academy of opportunity. Throughout the year, cadets can participate in a wide range of activities, events, and leadership experiences. While the pace can be fast and the schedule full, know that support is always available.

Our program is proudly student-run, guided by three dedicated instructors who serve as mentors, educators, and leadership coaches. At the top of our cadet leadership structure is the battalion staff, a group of senior cadets responsible for planning and overseeing unit operations. Each company, organized by class period, is led by cadet staff who are ready to assist their peers and ensure a smooth year ahead.

New cadets will receive essential information during BCT and the first week of school, including how to stay informed via the Remind app. Additionally, a classroom bulletin board displays all current details cadets need to know.

Join the CPO for the 25-26 School Year

Membership is open for the Cadet Parent Organization (CPO) for the new school year. The Nease NJROTC Booster Club's mission is to support cadets and instructors in activities and events and to promote the Navy JROTC values of Honor, Courage and Commitment within the Nease community. Additionally, the Booster Club shall assist in raising funds to be used for academic scholarships as well as providing meals, entry fees, equipment, supplies, travel expenses, etc. necessary for the support and improvement of the NJROTC program. All efforts and time are on a volunteer basis and all booster members are greatly appreciated by everyone involved in making this program a success.

Why become a booster member?

Membership in the Booster Club is voluntary, and is a great way to stay informed about the many activities and programs in which the cadets are involved and an excellent way to connect with families of other cadets in our NJROTC program. The Booster Club supports our cadets throughout the year with fundraisers, chaperones and rides for drill meets and outings. The funds we collectively raise are used to purchase necessities for the JROTC competition teams, provide food and manage logistics for corps activities and events, and fund scholarships. Our NJROTC needs your support, assistance, and expertise to be a continued success! Being an active member also allows you an opportunity to see first-hand the impact the program has on the students and our community.

What is the commitment?

Booster Club meetings are held at 7:45AM on the third Thursday of the month.

Booster meetings offer an opportunity for you to ask questions, plan and serve on a booster committee, and connect with like-minded NJROTC families.
