As summer break winds down, the Nease NJROTC unit is already buzzing with excitement and preparation for the school year ahead. With Basic Cadet Training (BCT) upon us, we’re thrilled to welcome a new class of NS1 cadets and their families to the program, along with our returning NS2, NS3, and NS4 cadets!
Nease NJROTC is more than just an elective. It’s an academy of opportunity. Throughout the year, cadets can participate in a wide range of activities, events, and leadership experiences. While the pace can be fast and the schedule full, know that support is always available.
Our program is proudly student-run, guided by three dedicated instructors who serve as mentors, educators, and leadership coaches. At the top of our cadet leadership structure is the battalion staff, a group of senior cadets responsible for planning and overseeing unit operations. Each company, organized by class period, is led by cadet staff who are ready to assist their peers and ensure a smooth year ahead.
New cadets will receive essential information during BCT and the first week of school, including how to stay informed via the Remind app. Additionally, a classroom bulletin board displays all current details cadets need to know.
