Happy October! Despite the hurricane days, our unit keeps marching on with several events and activities!
Our cadets participated in several events over the past few weeks including Air Rifle at Bishop Kenny, Orienteering at Brunswick, and the Green & Gold Parade!
The Air Rifle team had a wonderful showing over their two-day match. Precision Top Shooter was Cadet Hedrick and the top shooter for B Team was Cadet Davis.
Our Orienteering teams came in 2nd place overall for Nease Green, and 10th place overall for Nease Gold with several cadets individually placing in their groups. Individual awards went to:

- Cadet Spore, 1st place varsity green course male
- Cadet Newman, E., 5th place varsity brown course female
- Junior Varsity
- Cadet Gourd, 1st place JV orange course male
- Cadet Pitches, 4th place JV orange course female
- White Course Male
- Cadet Spence, 1st place
- Cadet Flowers, 2nd place
- White Course Female
- Cadet Castellon, 2nd place
- Cadet Wagner, 3rd place
- Cadet Tokarek, 5th place
Both our Air Rifle and Orienteering Teams are off to a great start!
Hurricane Milton caused a rainy scene at the 2nd Annual Green & Gold Parade, but that didn't stop our cadets from representing! The storm continues to create chaos as the Homecoming game and festivities have been postponed to November 7.
